God is dead. Say that you don't go to church and that is the next logical step people take. If you don't go to church, you don't believe. Frankly, I'm insulted. To hinge belief on participation in some reflexive, physical presence at a building seems ridiculous. Not to discount church as a part of people's beliefs, but to grant salvation by attendance seems illogical. The place is holy and without it, the person is not. Damned by absenteeism. My belief does not rely on where I believe. My prayers are no less valid if they are not amplified by a church. My voice is loud, my faith is strong, my church is the world, my God is everywhere.
