What saves your soul from damnation must not be so cut and dry. Too many technical practitioners of religion turn out to be quite horrible people behind closed doors. Even the clergy ends up having bad apples in their ranks. When compared to those people, there's no way that they can make it to the next life and I wouldn't. What ends up saving your soul anyway? I do good by people but not everyone would necessarily see it that way. If someone doesn't see me doing good when I am, shouldn't that be like doing good without expecting praise?
